Get the Look: White and Neon

So today I did a really fun makeup look I thought I would share! When I was doing it, I just knew I wanted something bright, fun and different! I put white in my waterline fairly often, but I don’t usually do my bottom eyelashes white as well.  Just switching that up added a lot of drama and played up how intense and bright the eyeshadow’s were!  My top eyeshadow’s are a mix of neon coral and neon pink.  On my lips I used lipstick as well as eyeshadows to make sure the color matched my eyes exactly. Yesterday I finally got to wear my new distressed cut offs! I was pretty excited to be honest. Mostly, because I found a pair that actually fit me correctly!  Usually they are too short, too tight or just not the style I want. I found these at Forever 21 after looking at every pair of cutoffs in the store, literally!  When I saw them I knew they were “the ones”.  I plan on wearing them all summer, so here is your warning! Here is how I styled them!

Mix it up

Today was fathers day and I started my day off with church! Since I needed to wear something nice, yet casual enough to wear to BBQ’s this evening, I figured this dress would be perfect!   I really wanted to use the  brown leather fringe purse, so I paired the dress with a leopard print scarf.  This added some brown to the outfit and tied in the bag.  I also paired my dress with a red lip and some studded sandals.  This whole outfit was so comfortable, flow-y, and perfect for summer! I want to see how many ways I can style this dress, and I plan on buying it in every single color!

Best Summer Lip

What is a good everyday lip color? My favorite eyeliners: Drugstore VS. High End

I have honestly tried it all, when it comes to eyeliner.  I am a huge liquid liner fan, since I LOVE a winged liner, and through all my years, I have finally found my tried and true liquid liners.  The two that never let me down, never give me raccoon eyes, and always keep my wings (liner wings, that is) perfectly in place.

My favorite drugstore liquid liner is NYX Collection Noir black liquid liner. It stays on ALL day, it goes on super black, and it is not too hard to remove.. AND, it’s only $6! What a steal! GO buy it!

My favorite high end liquid liner is Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black).  It is usually my recommendation for someone new to liquid liners because of it’s felt tip pen applicator.  It goes on smooth, and it’s not too liquid-y, so it’s easy to apply! My Beauty Routine

Hi everyone! I get asked all the time what I use on my skin, so I put this little collage together to highlight some of my new and old favorites! This is more what I use to perfect and prime my skin. I will post a full-blown skin care routine soon!

1.Here it is folks, my new favorite foundation! I absolutely LOVE my Younique BB Flawless Complexion Enhancer! It is an all in one product, which means it has your moisturizer, primer, and foundation together! I still moisturize and prime, but it is not necessary. 6.Tarte Maracuja Concealer has been my go-to concealer for a couple years now. It is so rich and creamy and has amazing coverage! It brightens, hydrates and covers my horrible dark circles with ease! I use it in Light or Medium just depending on wether I am tan or not, but when in doubt, go with the lighter shade!

My Summer Must Haves

Good afternoon everyone! Summer is definitely in full swing, and I was reminded when I went outside and realized it was 108 degrees! Yuck! I don’t mind a little heat every now and then but geez, triple digit are just too much for me! Any how, since it is too hot to go outside I decided to write a post on my summer wardrobe essentials. These are all things I am loving right now, and will be rocking all summer long!

I just picked up some cute cut-offs almost identical to the ones I added to this collage, and I can’t wait to wear them! They are super distressed and will go with everything! Cutoffs even work in the fall with tights and boots, so I will definitely get my moneys worth!

I have also been LOVING kimonos, and especially the ones with some fringe! I love throwing mine over a vintage band Tee, and I am a 90’s fashion freak, so of course I had to add in an AMAZING Cobain tee shirt! Pair the tee with a funky statement necklace and it dresses it up just enough.

Every summer I live in black strappy sandals, and most of mine have some sort of studded embellishment. It is like I have a natural radar built into my brain that goes off when I see anything with studs, but especially sandals!

No summer is complete without the perfect sunnies, and I LOVE these ones from Nasty Gal! All black cat eyes will never do you wrong, I promise!
